Major Unusual Incident (MUI) Investigative Agents receive all reports of abuse, neglect, misappropriation, or any other MUI, as defined in state law and County Board Policy. They investigate these incidents to ensure the health and safety of the affected individual is protected. All MUIs are also reported to the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities (DODD). MUI Investigative Agents work cooperatively with the Service and Support Administration, Children Services, and Law Enforcement agencies to ensure that incidents are investigated per Ohio law.
To find out more about MUIs from Ohio DODD, please visit the DODD MUI Registry Unit website. Alternatively, you may also click on any of the buttons below for more information on MUIs.
